Willie Norris is back. For her third collaboration, the Brooklyn-based designer and queer activist partnered with us on "My Baggage"—a collection inspired by the friends, muses, and city that made her. Nearly twenty years in New York will do that to you.

 What Inspired This Collection

“My work is always guided by community—and Maya, Lauren, and Mo are not only friends, but perennial muses whose individuality, creativity, and ways of moving through this NYC continue to inspire me."
-Willie Norris

 Lauren Chan

Model, TV personality, and advocate for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. You may have seen her dragging her 6-9 LOOKS Carry-On through LaGuardia.

 On her baggage:

“My baggage is my business—unless customs needs to look through it."

 Maya Margarita

DJ, artist, and actress from Santo Domingo. Her work finds the emotional truth in everything.

 On her baggage:

“Everything you own says something.”

“For me, NYC has always been a place for everyone.” -Willie Norris

 Mo Iman Fayaz

Brooklyn-based illustrator and artist. His work is in MoMA. It's also on your favorite nightlife poster.

 On his baggage:

"This kind of osmosis occurs when you’re in NYC. You’re doing your own thing, making your own mark and then suddenly you’re in sync…part of the bigger thing."

 Willie on Travel

"I love travel because I like to forget myself a little bit. When you encounter a place that doesn't already exist in your head, you don't have a judgment of it yet. That's when I feel most alive." — Willie Norris
